def Td5 2002 na vervangen remblokken ABS en TC blijven branden

Ik heb vandaag mijn remblokken van mijn defender 110 uit 2002 vervangen, achter. Deze waren behoorlijk versleten.
Nu waren deze maar net te installeren. Ik had net genoeg ruimte om de blokken de plaatsen tussen de zuigerstang en remschijf maar is wel gelukt.
Na deze beide kanten gemonteerd te hebben proef ritje gemaakt. Remmen doen het goed maar de lampjes ABS en TC blijven nu branden.
Heeft iemand hier ervaring mee en kan mij iemand hierin adviseren wat nu te doen.

... now the rear sensor is fixed to the hub using the same copper bushing as the front but is mounted horizontally and tends not to move, it also uses an exciter ring which is fixed to the inside of the disc.

With this said, how much of a struggle was it to get the pistons moved back ? if they had gone all the way freely then there would have been more than enough room so it sounds like you had to uses some force to get them back probably using the disc as a lever point ?

So have you disturbed the sensor or worse distorted the disc (has been known to happen) and now the air gap is too large for the sensor to work as Roger has already indicated.

I had to use some force to push piston back. They were at end position.
When buying the pads the sales man looked up in his computer and indicated that there were 2 kind of disks for 2002 110. One 14 mm and 17 mm thickness. When checking chassisnumber he indicated that the 17mm was OK. They just fitted.
After mounting there was just a little space between disk and pads but ther was space.

To day I removed the disc and checked the sensor. One bolt broke (corroded) and after cleaning all sensor was visible. I tried to move sensor but did not dare to use too much force. Can you indicate how to adjust this sensor?

... interesting as there is only 1 kind of rear disc for the 110 with ABS, this is part number SDB000330, now LR018026 and is 14.1mm thick.

This explains why installation was not as smooth as I thought.
Can this be the problem of the ABS and TC control light to burn.
Do you think it is necessary to grind of 2 - 3 mm and then reinstall?

- No, I would be going back to the parts supplier and get the correct discs and your money back plus a bit on top for the inconvenience of fitting the wrongly supplied part.

Mee eens ik had ze eigenlijk terug moeten brengen maar ik heb 3 mm van de blokken afgehaald en opnieuw geinstalleerd, wilde niet langer wachten, heb morgen auto nodig. Heb alles weer teruggemonteerd (dat ging makkelijk!!!!!!) echter lampen ABS en TC blijven branden.Test ritje gemaakt en alles blijkt goed te functioneren.
Voorlopig ff blijven rijden met lampjes aan........
Volgende keer kijk ik wel 2 keer na voordat ik iets bestel. Maarja ik dacht dat remblokken behoorlijk standaard waren.... nee dus.
