Ik ben aan het twijfelen om een discovery 3 TDV6 aan te kopen. Graag wat informatie over deze versie.
Welke kilometerstanden zijn te doen?
Zijn er bouwjaren die moeten vermeden worden?
Welke reparaties dienen al uitgevoerd te zijn?
Zijn er opties die er zeker op moeten zitten?
Zijn er opties die er beter niet op zitten?
Om aanhanger 3500Kg te trekken, automaat of handbak?
Waar moet je zeker op letten?
Ik heb soms twijfels bij de 2.7 TDV6, is een benzine met LPG ook een optie?
...

Tja, waarom twijfelen? Bij de dealers is een ruim aanbod voorhanden, met garantie. Wil je daarentegen zo goedkoop mogelijk uit zijn, dan weet je nooit wat je koopt, en kunnen de extra reparatiekosten aardig in de papieren lopen. Dan wordt het zoeken naar de bekende speld...

My personal opinion on which model to go for is the highest specification that you can afford, the "cheap" models really look their age now and tend not to be as well looked after as their more expensive cousins. HSE is the best.
I would advise against putting LPG on the benzine version.
2005 and 2006 Model years were EU3 and 2007, 2008 and 2009 were EU4.
The early models drive train had certain issues that were sorted out in the later EU4 variants.
A full service history is a must especially the 240k service where the front and rear timing belts would be changed.
Problems, in no particular order are
Front lower draagarms wear
Stabstang bushes wear
EGR valves fail
Intercooler hose splits
Generator failure
Rear door latch cables snap
Rear propshaft center bearing failure
Fuel tank float wiring problems
Sunroof drain tubes block causing water ingress
Automatic gearbox judder in 3rd (solved with a change of oil and filter, the job from Hell)
Front wheel bearing failure
Gloiebougie failure (another job from Hell)
Now it may seem that I don't like them, however this is not true and they are a pleasure to drive.
