Disco 2 2003 Vocht in Koplampen

Beste forum leden, ik heb sinds een door wading vocht/condens in 1 van de koplampen. is er een trucje om dit er uit te krijgen?

Bij een IIa heb je altijd condens in de lampen. Gewoon de lampen aanzetten en het verdampt vanzelf. Het zijn geen gesealde units dus water kan er zo in en ook weer uit.

Bij een IIa heb je altijd condens in de lampen. Gewoon de lampen aanzetten en het verdampt vanzelf. Het zijn geen gesealde units dus water kan er zo in en ook weer uit.

Normaal lukte dat ook altijd maar nu werkt het niet echt goed. dus wellicht is er iets verstopt geraakt.

Denk je echt dat je met een föhn meer warmte in dat huis krijgt dan met een gloeilamp die brandt?

Niet meer warmte maar wel meer luchtstroom door de lamp heen. Het is te proberen als met lampen aan niet helpt

Now depending on the amount of condensation the solution is to replace the unit if it is bad or live with it if it isn't and for the record almost all headlight and tail light units on Land Rover products since 2003 have suffered this problem.

Now what we used to do is place a small packet of Silica Gel inside the light unit and in 99% of the cases this cured the condensation problem.

This worked so well that in April 2007 Land Rover actually adopted the technique and published a new bulletin for the Discovery 3 and sold the packets with their own part number XYD500010
