Koppakking

Bij mijn rrc is de koppakking kapot dus moet vervangen worden nou zijn er verschillende diktes en materialen maar welke moet ik hebben.
En zo te zien zit er bij het spruitstuk aardig wat roest of aanslag hoe kan ik die het beste los krijgen zonder dat de boel afbreekt.

There are different thickness's for the 3.5Efi V8 ? To the best of my knowledge they only fitted the 603796 which is the tin plate type. What you do find on some third party supplier sites a 603796C gasket which is a composite type the same as ETC7819 which was for the early 3.9Efi.

Now you can use a composite one if you are unsure of how to fit the tin plate one, or that you suspect that there is a bit of imperfection in either the head or the block especially around the water channels, I have used both and found absolutely no difference in performance.

There is no specific thickness koppakking available, like the diesel engines, this is due to the fact that the pistons do not protrude above the level of the top of the block.

Ik heb iets gelezen over verschillende diktes maar begrijp dat dat over diesel motoren ging dus.
Maar het gaat om een 3.9 efi uit 1990 zijn daar ook geen verschillen diktes voor.

Welke pakkingen moet ik nog meer vervangen als ik de koppen er af heb.

Ok Ben,

Up to 1991 there was only ETC7819. From 1991 there was :

Up to Engine Number 38D27237B - ETC7819
From Engine Number 40D09582B - ERR5437 which was superceded to ERR7217 which was superceded to LVB500030

So if it's really a 1990 3.9EFi then it's ERC7819 and if it is later then it's ultimately LVB500030
