Facing Forward stoelen laadbak Defender 90

Berichtdoor Pike » 03 Okt 2013, 18:59

Iemand ervaring?

Have a look here viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3981 Jelle asked the question, I did the measurements and he got the angle grinder out, I do beleive it went well. ;)

Thanks!

The seats look very comfortable, but it seems the seating positions is awkward.
The support seems to be in the way.

Daarnaast minder aanpassingen nodig.

H has a set of them (the Exmoor ones) in her 109 Station Wagon, the kids hated them as the distance between the seat and the floor was too short and like their father they were not exactly 2m+ so be aware, they do sit low in the back. My biggest problem with the forward facing seats in the current range is there is then zero room for the crap you take with you and you need to take a 90 with you just to fit all of the crap the 110 cannot carry anymore. (yes we went on holiday with 2 vehicles for 15 years ... I had a fantastic time driving all alone with my dog)

Do you prefer the inward facing seats then?
They also have more 'luxurious' ones.
Are they comfortable?
With two kids space is always an issue.
But that can be solved with a roof rack!

The inward facing ones are now alot better than they were and it is possible to fit full 3 point belts with them. A lot of people don't like them and Elf and Safety now say they are dangerous but I don't remember killing any children in 30 years of transporting them and I don't remember being killed while sitting without a belt on a wooden bench in the back of a 109 when I was a kid. But then again my father did try to kill me on several occasions when strapped to the passenger seat of his Group B rally car with a full 6 point harness and roll cage.

Oh and take 2 roof racks, you'd be amazed at how much crap 5 children can take.
