Weet iemand de artikelnummers?

Hallo,

Ik ben met mijn duren bezig en nu is een strip losgekomen (wat ook eigenlijk de bedoeling was ivm spuiten), echter ben ik nu op zoek naar de plugjes om hem dadelijk weer vast te zetten.

Kan iemand mij hier mee helpen? In het partsboek, zie ik wel de deur, maar niet de strip en al helemaal niet de plugjes.

Ik heb een aantal foto's meegestuurd om één en ander te verduidelijken.

Edward, you lucky chap. You managed to get the only 110 fitted with those cappings

They fitted them for 1 year only 1985 and it was the transition door, where we went from 2 piece doors with sliding windows to 1 piece doors with wind up windows but retaining the series type door handles.

So the front cappings are MUC3928 (RH), MUC3929 (LH), the clips are MUC3186 and the Snap Sac they fit into is AJU1136L

Hmm, interesting question. I don't think the designers at Solihull purposely designed an item that would collect rain water and then pass it through the door via the pins so making the door bottoms rust quicker, they normally achieved that through badly designing the seals on the windows, however I could be wrong

Actually it is purely a cosmetic feature. All Land Rovers until then had had the 2 piece door with the capping separating the upper and lower parts. This continued along the rear flanks at the top of the tub. When the one piece door came out the designers thought that the front looked unbalanced without the capping and therefore added it later in the manufacturing process, however this was expensive and totally unnecessary so they dropped it for the 1986 Model Year and no-one noticed it was missing.
