Hoe stel ik mijn lpg/benzine motor af met een stroboscoop. Heb stroboscoop aangesloten maar kan nergens een mooi streepje vinden, en moet het ook op een aantal toeren. Het gaat om een 2,25 petrol uit een serie 2a van 67 op, probleem is stationair loopt ie super mooi, maar hij wil niet lekker op gang komen,

Set up the static timing first to 3deg and then play with it.

For timing then normally it should be between 3deg and 6deg BTDC for LPG and the vacuum advance should be working. You can test it by sucking on the
vacuum pipe and seeing if the baseplate moves, alternatively if you don't have vacuum advance then the mechanical advance mechanism under the base plate could be rusted. This would be a symptom of the idle working perfectly but the higher revs not.
