drukstift vastzetten

Ik heb de slave cylinder van mijn defender 300tdi moeten vervangen. Het werk is tot nu toe redelijk verlopen, maar bij het terugplaatsen van de cylinder bleek dat de drukstift los lag. Een pootje van het kleine plastic houdertje bleek gebroken. Nu ben ik al twee middagen met dit verrekte ding van nog geen euro bezig om het samen met de drukstift weer op zijn plek te krijgen. Ik heb redelijk grote handen dus ik kom moeijk in het gat zelf. Ik heb van alles al geprobeerd, zoals een stukje electriciteitsbuis over de drukstift met een uitsparing voor het plastic houdertje, zodat het niet kan draaien, maar ik krijg het niet op zijn plaats. Wie heeft voor mij de ultieme tip om dit probleem op te lossen?

You're not going to like it but ...

Unless you are good at gynecology the plastic pin holder is almost impossible to get back on the the actuating arm through the slave cylinder hole. The proper way is to remove the gearbox :ohmy:

However, this is not the official way to do it and I would not recommend it ;) ;) but you can drill a hole in the bottom of the bell housing where the actuating arm end comes into contact with the slave cylinder. Through this hole you can then with a punt tang or screwdriver lever the plastic holder over the arm and then secure it with a tie wrap. You can then fill the hole with a rubber plug of suitable size or fill it with kit.
