Goedendag,....!

I agree with Roger (another Love Fest Rog ;) ) 32v is waaaaayy too high.
OK, there are multiple variations of 24v Land Rover with multiple variations of Generators and Multiple Versions of Control Boxes, mostly it's the control box that has gone tits up. :(
You need to know the make and model number of both the Generator and Control Box before you start playing around with them and the circuit diagrams etc are all specific to the make and model, and they are not interchangeable either so do not just go looking for a 24v Generator or Control box and expect it to work.
If you read off all the numbers of both then I'll see what I can find for you with regard to diagrams etc.
Both the EMLRA and HMVF in the UK have Forums and may be able to help and Clive Elliott is their 24v Guru.

EMLRA http://forum.emlra.org/
HMVF http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/index.php
Yes you can fix it yourself but you do need all the diagrams etc and you do have to know how your's works because it's totally different to mine.
Rob
You may want to look at this http://www.hmvf.co.uk/pdf/ALL%20CHARGED%20UP%20Part%203.pdf

Hi! All!
...

Photograph it and mail it or post it here, I'm a sad bastard and I'll find out what you have (you can also send me pictures of the Generator Panel in a brown wrapper, I'd like that)
Rob
Oooh err , that's different (now seeing the photos) ........ never seen one of those before, nice ........
