... because my friend from 1983 to midway through 1986 most of the One-Ten production was done on a tight budget and they just re-used Series III items when and where they could so it's only until we get into the later One-Tens and the introduction of the Ninety (in 1985) that they start to have their own set of parts.

Interestingly enough there are several items even on today's 2015 2,2 Puma Defender that still can be found on a Series III or earlier because they just work and why change it.
