A cotton pancake filter, no pipework at all!
Well at least it's breathing
Good point, I will try to get a measurement soon
Would be useful, what is important is not the overall figure (should be at least 9,5kgfcm2) but the difference between cylinders.
It is a magnetic induction system, timing is 12 degrees. I use NGK BP6ES plugs.
Standard tune is 5 to 7 B.T.D.C so you are well advanced. The plugs should be at around 0,60 mm the originals were Champion N12Y or Unipart GSP131 and were set at 0,71 mm to 0,84 mm
I installed a double S stainless steel sports exhaust a few months ago, Sound did improve, performance barely. Not as much as switching from paper to cotton filter.
Hmmmm, not sure all the single pipes of the Double S system are the same length which is the important bit down to the join of the 4 to 2 and then the length of the 2 to 1. Yes will sound nice but probably doesn't do much.
I ruined only one ;) , it was replaced with a stage One LT95.
Same one :) and the worst of the ratios ;)
Well my problem is that fourth gear feels too much like an powerless overdrive. What I probably am missing is a fourth gear underdrive and a fith gear overdrive like the LT85 has. So a lower top speed but more GTi pulling power. Do you know the ratio for a Stage 1 LT95?
Slooooooooow and then really, really slow but the same as you had see answer above ;)
