Helaas weet ik niets van historie van de betreffende auto, maar deze kan er misschien wel in meeliften:

Misschien dat de restaurateurs daarvan, de bekende Limburgse familie Houben, bovengenoemde auto kennen?

The Houben's would certainly be able to help, for what it's worth, from the pictures it's pre 1951 Model year as it's 'Lights behind the grille" (the same as mine) rather than "Lights through the grille" which in 1952 became just Lights and grille. Although the photo is of poor quality it has no door handles and possibly narrow front springs with the hanger at the front rather than the rear which then put's it into the first 1.000 build and 1949 which again is the same as mine (chassis number 912) However it's not that simple and most of the first 1.000 build of LHD went to Australia, Africa, Canada, South America or India. I can find nothing in the records of a Dutch 1949 80", which says nothing other than it came from somewhere else first.
