discovery 3 2008 alarm uitschakelen

Is er bij Disco 3 uit 2008 eenvoudig het alarm uit te schakelen?

Dat wil ik doen omdat deze soms spontaan af gaat...buren vinden het niet heel leuk//;-)
Daarna ga ik wel onderzoeken wat het probleem is..

Ehhh, klinkt goed...maar wil het zo graag zeker weten...

Volgens mij zet je dan alleen de interieursensor niet aan maar gaat het alarm wel gewoon aan.

Ja, ik kom er niet helemaal uit , uit het boekje...er is wel iets met de sleutel te de/-activeren maar is me dus niet geheel duidelijk...

bij de D2 iig werkt dat zoals Edward zegt... als dit bij een D3 identiek werkt en je fout zit in je interieurbewaking heb je kans dat het wel het probleem met je buren oplost

Now the most common problem with false triggers is the bonnet switch, more on this later, the second most cause is the interior protection sensor. Now this you can switch off by pressing the lock button and then pressing it again within 3 seconds.

Now the bonnet switch is a pain in the bum, you get that helpful little message "Bonnet Open" when you start the car and you know it is bloody well locked and it is totally random. Sometimes it doesn't even display but sits and waits until everyone is asleep and then decides that the bonnet is open and sets off the alarm.

Now Land Rover know about this problem and replaced the bonnet switch that sits at the bottom of the right hand (left as you look at the car from the front) bonnet catch with an integrated catch and switch to rectify this. However they only announced it on the Dioscovery 4 and not on the Discovery 3.

You can't just unplug the switch and stop it from happening as it works by having a current flowing through the switch at all times so if you want to disable it then you have to unplug it and then get a paper clip and short out the 2 terminals and wrap it in tape to keep it there.

They issued a bulletin (see below) for the upgrade and the new switch, Part Number LR054331, will cost you € 33,01 inc BTW and 14 Dealers in Nederland have them on the shelf.

You can get the alarm system read out at a Dealer via SDD to confirm that that, or the interior sensor, is the trigger and you can't get that information read out by a 3rd party device.

I will switch off the protection sensor of the interior first. So you say

Then( now!!) i wil open and close the bonnet switch and let him fall down so hard i will be sure he is closed..

Het is natuurlijk zoeken waar de storing vandaan komt maar wat te doen als ik dat hele alarm er nu af wil hebben?

Is dat met 1 zekering verwijderen te doen?

Eigenlijk wil ik dat hele alarm de-activeren

ga er maar van uit dat dat niet een zekering kwestie is, dat "alarm er af halen".... volledig geïntegreerd in de electronica............

Met wat geluk is het alarm te deactiveren door de dealer middels het diagnoseapparaat.
