Freelander, '04 Td4: wat is dit voor onderdeel?

In onze Freelander TD4 uit 2004, lag dit onderdeel (niet aangesloten) onder de motorkap. Wie weet wat het is ?

Als je ff op het onderdeel nummer googled zie dat Rob toch echt gelijk heeft zoals gewoonlijk.

Bedankt voor jullie reactie. Is dit onderdeel nog aan te sluiten of moet het een en ander eerst worden uitgebouwd. Wat gebeurt er als ik het weg laat?

... it needs to be attached to the IRD and runs up the back of the engine through 3 clips. It allows the warm air in the IRD to escape and stops water ingress into the IRD through the breather hole. What you are missing is the rubber pipe on the bottom of it which is possibly still attached to the IRD.

Now on a 1.8 K Series you can normally get the pipe back on by reaching down the back of the engine however with the Td4 the filter box is directly over it and it's a tight squeeze so it's a bit of a fiddle and normally easier to do it from underneath after you have removed the bottom cover plate.

My only question is why is it loose in the first place ? Normally when you remove the IRD and forget to detach the pipe it will quite happily stop you removing it and the IRD will hang off it

Zuigerveer 3-de cilinder was kapot, motor is nu grotendeels gereviseerd. Monteur hield een onderdeel over, was niet aangesloten en wist dus niet waar het voor diende. Auto loopt nu perfect, ook zonder ird-buisje,

Ik zal het pijpje proberen aan te sluiten in het weekend.

Koppeling is een jaar geleden vernieuwd, misschien is toe losgekoppel...

P.S. Bodemplaat hoefde niet los, kon met mijn hand van onder goed bij, rubber zat nog idd aan de tussenbak nog vast...
