tdv6 zelf reviseren?

Hallo,

Ik vroeg me af in hoeverre het mogelijk is een tdv6 2.7 zelf te reviseren.
Motor is vastgelopen en is met de hand niet meer rond te draaien.
Graag jullie mening!

In het algemeen gesproken valt alles te reviseren, mits je maar voldoende gereedschap, tijd en geld hebt.

Misschien moet je iets meer vertellen waarom de motor is vastgelopen en wat er nu allemaal stuk is in de motor dan. Straks is het sneller of zelfs goedkoper om gewoon een ruilmotor te nemen.

Ik weet het niet zeker, maar is het ook niet lastig om aan sommige onderdelen te komen? Bij een maat hier is door de dealert een nieuwe ingezet omdat dat goedkoper zou zijn dan de oude repareren.

En ja die dealert vertrouw ik wel.

hoe oud is dat blok? lijkt me dat er vanuit LR zelf toch wel enige coulance mogelijk is, mits niet moedwillig in de soep gedraaid..

Laatste wat ik er over gehoord heb zijn er voor de Tdv6 geen zuigers, lagerschalen,zuigerveren en dergelijke verkrijgbaar. Ook niet bij Landrover en ook niet bij merken uit de psa groep waar de motor uiteindelijk vandaan komt

... well let's just say that it is not exactly possible. Land Rover cannot supply any of the internals from the PSA Lion 2.7 as they were not part of the deal and PSA themselves refuse to sell them too. The only thing that you can buy is the short block that contains the Pistons, Con-Rods and Crankshaft. This is LR010297 and is € 4.288,47 inc BTW.

Now actually doing the job is also an interesting experience, having done it a few times myself. There are a number of special tools that you need to put in the various seals etc and time up the engine. If you have a 2 post lift then you will save yourself a shed load of time as you take the body off and you should be able to do the out, strip, rebuild and refit easily in the allotted 22,20 Hours, if you have only a 4 post lift then you are looking at around about 45,00 Hours and if you have no lift at all then you will easily be into the 65,00 to 70,00 Hours.

... oh and coulance ... well good luck, PSA tell Land Rover that they can't have it so you can forget it unless it has under 50,000 kms and is just over the three year warranty.

It would be easier and cheaper to find a good 2nd hand engine from a low mileage accident damaged Discovery.

Just out of interest a new one out of the box LR004729 with heads etc will cost you € 13.608,07 inc BTW

Las toevallig van de week iets op het engelse forum.
Tja, de 2.7 is idd lastig. maar als je even op disco3.co.uk zoekt zijn bepaalde onderdelen wel via via nieuw de reguliere handel te vinden. Echter lang niet alles.
Maar als dat nu net het onderdeel is dat bij jou het probleem veroorzaakt.... Even zoeken.
