Starten 200 TDI probleem

De laatste paar keer heb ik problemen met het starten van mijn 90, 200TDI.
Bij het starten slaat de motor wel enkele keren rond, alleen slaat de motor niet aan.

Als hij vervolgens, na een paar keer proberen wel aan slaat, doet hij het ook meteen prima. Geen vermogenverlies oid.
Weten jullie waar dat aan kan liggen?

Sounds like a very small air leak in the fuel supply system which is allowing the fuel to run back from the injectors to the distributie pump. If you leave the vehicle overnight for instance then the injectors, the pipes from the distributie pump to the injectors and the distributie pump have a small amount of air in them. If you drive and then restart you don't get the problem as there hasn't been enough time for the fuel to return.

Now on the 200Tdi this is a very common problem. The retourleiding that run from injector to injector are prone to leakage both where the banjo connects them to the injector and on the braided pipes themselves. When you switch off air enters the system via the leiding back to the pump.

I would be first checking for small diesel leaks around the retourleiding and check that none of the pipes are split and each of the banjo bolts are tight as they do vibrate loose from time to time (I check them as part of the service)
