Outstanding Customer Service

In may this year I acquired "Chardonnay", my 2001 Td4 Freelander 3-Door. She had a broken crankshaft pulley, which is not uncommon. Unfortunately Land Rover didn't have one so I ordered it from Paddocks, whom I have used for 30 years.

Imagine my disappointment last night when the new one decided to disintegrate leaving the car immobile :angry:

Yes chaps it's embarrassing and even more so when your colleagues also work for Land Rover so really had a good laugh at my expense. :blush:

So I fired off a quick email to Paddocks explaining the situation. :(

First thing this morning I received a confirmation email of my complaint and this afternoon I received an email from them confirming that a new one was being sent out at no cost and apologising for the inconvienience. :woohoo:

That my friends is Customer Service, so don't be afraid to use them if you are worried about what happens when it goes wrong.
