Re:the recall on the SLABS unit@RodSteward
It was issued on 10th November 2002 and covers chassis numbers XA900000 – XA907214 XA200253 – 1A299999 and 1A700000 – 1A736335
Basicaly a new SLABS ECU is fitted and reprogrammed as there was a potential error in some of the software in the original SLABS units.
We are now 10 years down the road and if your vehicle didn't have the unit replaced then there is a very good chance that it wasn't affected but only a visit to the dealer can establish if the recall is still oustanding on your vehicle.

kan dat "zien of recalls zijn uitgevoerd" in elk land bekeken worden voor elke landrover ook uit andere landen?

Re:the recall on the SLABS unit@RodSteward
The DDW system is Global, so with the chassis number we can see who originally delivered the vehicle, what recalls or service actions are applicable to it and what has been done and what warranty work has been done too. It doesn't matter if you bought the vehicle in Germany, had it serviced in France and now use it in Holland, as long as it's been through the dealer network we know it's history :) (assuming the Muppet at the dealer recorded it ;) )
