You see there are several versions of the original equipment and because of this there are also several versions of amplifier and several locations for them and a misconception that the antennae is in the right hand rear window.
You see you have an AM antennae, an FM antennae, an AM and FM antennae and a TMC antennae and they can all be fitted to the same vehicle
Two of them use Coax and one of them is piggybacked into the other, all of them also send and receive signals to and from the Audio Head unit which is then used to amplify the signal. Third party units retro fitted into Discoveries and Range Rover Sports are normally shit at getting a decent signal as they rely purely on the anttenae in the rear side windows and tailgate window which on their own are useless.
So either play CDs/MP3s/Bluetooth streaming or get used to listening to Veronica fading in and out because unless you are using Land Rover Head unit it isn't going to work.
