Ok mister Rob Stewart,

Inderdaad, gaat het verwijderen uit de remvoeringbevestiging moeilijk,maar door achter de plasticbus van de remkabel een beitel of schroevendraaier te slaan wrik je hem los.
Alleen het stalenwiggetje blijft zitten. Maar die kan er uit peuteren.

It actually took me a couple of looks to find the correct chapter as the Dutch Translation of the section is a little weird to say the least so ignore the title

Now I will add at this point that where the cable enters the backing plate, it is held in place by the mother of all plastic clips. I normally get a beitel and beat the crap out of it as that appears to be the only way to release it. Oh and securing the new one back in the hole is an experience in itself.

The cables are handed. The Right Hand one is Part Number LR007496 and the Left Hand one is Part Number LR014431 both cables have been superceded multiple times.

werkplaatshandboek al geraadpleegd? (vul ook even modeljaar en motortype in de titel in, wel zo compleet mocht er verschil in zitten naar bouwjaar en uitvoering)

FL2 2007 Td4: Handremkabels vervangen

Bij APK keuring is geconstateerd dat de buitenkant van de handremkabels zijn beschadigd,
en vervangen moeten worden. Kan iemand zeggen wat de beste manier is om de oude te demonteren en de nieuwe te monteren?
