... sounds like you are getting a voltage drop as the starter engages, this then results in the starter disengaging from the flywheel but there is still enough current to turn the motor itself without the resistance of the engine. Check for a good earth and that both batteries are in good order.

hoi allemaal, net de hele lijst met startmotorproblemen doorgelezen kon mijn issu niey vinden
series 3 ex defensie, startmotor draait rond en motor gaat mee, dan draait de starmotor nog wel maar de motor gaar niet meer mee, wie weet er iets
