Landmarcs schreef:
Een 2.2 TD4 uit 2007 ??

... Oh chaps, have you never heard of pre-production

OK now to the serious bits ...

There are a number of things it could be, the list in no particular order is as follows

EGR Valve failure (had one this morning actually with the same symptoms), fault code P0404 was stored and the bulletin LTB00334 covers this. Incidentally in this case the EGR valve was replaced just under a month ago because the customer complained it was noisy but was not faulty.

Turbo Modulator wiring problem, bulletin LTB00254 covers this with an overlay harness kit, incorrect signals to the PCM cause the engine to go into lim home and in extreme cases shut down completely.

Air ingress into the filter head, vehicle will start and run but shuts off after about a minute, had this on a 130 Azalai Camper conversion with additional fuel tanks and was allowing air in just after the filter as a clamp was not tight enough. Only presented itself when the vehicle was parked overnight with the engine slightly higher than the rear.

Filter not changed at the correct interval irrespective of km stand

PCM Software fault

PCM power supply relay under the passenger seat loose, had this one just before Christmas, the relay was supposed to be clipped into its holder but was hanging loose in the seat box and sometimes the contacts lost power and the PCM shutdown.

In all of the above cases it is easier to read the faults which would pinpoint if it is a fuel, air or electrical problem. The days of hitting it with a big hammer have long gone.

Rob

M.vr.gr.
