Now if it were a Series II then the relais would be a Lucas unit, LU031296, with a Land Rover Part Number of 271459, however if the vehicle is actually a Series IIa then it would have the relais 502096
So does your chassis number start with a '1' or a '2' ?
For the relais itself then it is a simple 3 pole flasher unit with the P terminal going direct to the fuse box on a Green wire, the N terminal going to the warning light on a Black/Red wire and then earth and the L terminal going to the indicator switch on a Green/Brown wire which in turn goes to the indicator units themselves.
