The routing of the belts is basically the same, the only difference is that you don't have the Airco pump, but the power steering pump still drives the generator which is typical for the Disco, if you look at Roger's photo you will see that the pump is located much lower down and to the left of the engine on the Defender version and is driven by the crankshaft.

Ik heb een 200 TDI motor uit een Disco in mijn Defender.
De situatie komt overeen met het geen Rob beschrijft.

Yes you need the 200Tdi Defender Pump and the associated brackets that go with it as the Disco one will not fit, you also will need the belt ETC5815. You will need the trillingsdemper ERR751 and Pulley ERR3093 then depending on if you have the original fan ETC7554 this will also need to be replaced for the newer version ERR3380 as this fouls the belts.

... now the pipes fit in the stuurhuis and also on the pump but the lengths of the pipes are different to the Defender items so you will have to reposition it, the reservoir is the same.

Ah,

Beide bedankt voor de toelichting.
Heb dus een andere pomp nodig en een dubbele poelie op de krukas!
Weten jullie me toevallig ook nog te vertellen of ik wel de leidingen van de disco pomp en reservoir kan gebruiken?

Roger is pretty much spot on, the pump you have is from the 200Tdi Discovery and Range Rover and is totally different from the Defender unit.

The Disco and Range Rover has a single belt that drives the Airco Pump from the crankshaft and a single belt that drives the power steering pump and water pump from the crankshaft and then the generator is driven by a separate belt from the power steering pump. If you look at the picture below you'll see what I mean.

The connections to and from the pump also will not fit within the space that the 200Tdi Defender as the connections are all on the inner side not the outer side.

volgens het onderdelenboek een enkele pulley op pomp, dubbele op de krukas (bij een defender) kan natuurlijk zijn dat dat bij een disco anders is en er een discoblok gebruikt is.

Beste Forumleden.

Ik heb een 200tdi blok gekocht dat ik inmiddels in mijn 90-je heb gelegd nadat er een 2.5NA uitgekomen was.
Nu wil ik graag stuurbekrachtiging installeren. Ik heb een stuurpomp gekocht, met slangen en reservoir, en ik heb een bekrachtigd stuurhuis.
Ik kom er alleen niet uit hoe de pomp aangesloten wordt op de v snaren. Mijn pomp heeft een dubbele poelie, met ruimte voor 2 snaren dus.
Googelend kom ik heel veel configuraties tegen met een dubbele poelie op de krukas (ik heb een enkele) maar ook met 1 v-snaar die overal langs loopt.
Kan iemand mij vertellen wat de juiste manier is (of zijn er meerdere?)
