If it's a flat black panel that the various warning lights lights are behind (so you only see the lights when you switch the ignition on) then it's YAF100090 and if you can see what each of the warning lights are without them being illuminated then it's either MTC5459 or AWR3813 depending on if you have an alarm or not. That said if we are specifically talking about your 300Tdi then as it is 2001 ROW spec I would expect it to have the modern dashboard with the LED warning lamp panel, and also this has 2 multiplugs connecting it on the back.

Maybe this makes it clearer, the first 2 are from the old Instrument Panel and the other one is from the new instrument panel.

Morning Rob,

Is er een manier om ze van buiten af van elkaar te onderscheiden op het eerste oog?

Heeft de verlichting van de vent bediening er iets mee te maken (ie alleen de Y-nummer is voor de verlichte vent bediening? )

Actually Luke, there are three numbers, there is also AWR3813.

- YAF100090 is from the start of the 1999 Model Year and has the cluster of LED's for the warning lights
- MTC5459 is the older type with the 2w bulbs for the warning lights
- AWR3813 is the same and MTC5459 but is used when there is a Lucas 10AS alarm unit behind it.

Land Rover Lieden

Zojuist tot de verrassende ontdekking gekomen dat er 2 nummers bestaan voor het instrumenten paneel van een Defender.

Dat zijn YAF100090 en MTC5459.

Is er iemand die per ongeluk weet waar het verschil in zit, behalve de prijs uiteraard?

Heb al zitten zoeken maar staat nergens iets over.

Enige wat ik me voor kan stellen is dat MTC5459 voor het vroege type is met mechanisch (kabel) aangedreven snelheidsmeter

Maar is dat ook zo?
