Yes it gets a "hight sensor out of range" and stops. Normally it's the right hand side, with the leak on the air spring
but the left leaks too 
. I personally recommend replacing both, unless you know that one has been changed recently, as in the majority of cases when a new air spring is installed the other one fails within a few weeks due to the system now being at the correct pressure and it finds the weak point of the old one.If you have one side sitting on the bump stops then try and raise that side of the vehicle until it is level and see what happens with the compressor, switch the suspension to the high setting and then check for leaks with lekzoek spray or soapy water.
