Hanno, I have several schema's of brandstofsystems for various Land Rover and Range Rover V8 systems, the early systems used an electrical Facet external Low Pressure Fuel pump (PRC3901), situated normally halfway between the tank and the carbs, this then fed an in-line sedementor type fuel filter situated on or near the bulkhead (JS660L) before going on to the carbs, The carbs float chambers would shut off the fuel supply and the pump would stop itself due to the pressure being to great for it to pump if in an idle situation for instance. In the worst case then the carb would overflow via an external pipe normally to the right hand wheel arch. There was no return on the older systems.

So ... the vehicle type the engine is intended for would be a great help.

The engine is from the Rover SD1 with manual gearbox produced from 1976-1987

Talk to Chris Crane at RPi, they supply a remote oil filter housing kit for the Rover V8. It's at the bottom of the page : http://www.v8engines.com/engine-6d.htm

heb het pdf bestand doorgenomen en is heel makelijk voor gegevens over afstelling ed maar staat geen schema van het brandstofsysteem in en ook niet hoe de aanvoerpomp ed aangesloten is.
hoop dat jullie mij hier aan kunnen helpen?

ik heb geen idee waar de motor uit komt want ik heb deze los gekocht.
het motornr is 9.35.1cr en er onder staat 10A31799
ik zoek het olieschema / tekeningen van de oliepomp/filter unit.
het oliefilter zit mij namelijk in de weg en wil kijken of ik deze extern kan plaatsen.
ben deze motor in een eigenbouw voertuig aan het plaatsen.

The SU carb system in detail is in the V8 Tuning Manual on the kennisbank http://lrch.nl/sites/default/files/LSM0094TM.pdf

What exactly do you wan to know about the lubrication system ? and in which vehicle is the SU carb V8? Stage One, Early Defender, RRC, or early Discovery I
