Nee, ik weet niet zeker of het door de DPF komt, maar het is het eerste waar ik aan denk: extra restrictie in de uitlaat.

Al mijn TD5's zaten ook rond de 1:10; deze doet 1:8,5 of nog iets slechter.

Alle drie de adviezen zijn duidelijk; terug naar de dealer en niet de garantie in gevaar brengen.

Ga ik doen, dus! Dank!

en als de dealer er niks aan,wil of kan doen.....hij is niet de enige......en garantie heb je wereldwijd bij elke dealer

We hebben het dus over een wagen van amper een jaar oud. Het is natuurlijk niet zo dat gewoon garantie op zit en dat een bepaald verbruik opgegeven is. Dat verbruik mag je dus verwachten. Ofwel, zoals Roger ook aangeeft, gewoon naar de dealer en die lost het op..... :huh: :huh:

Weet je wel zeker dat het hogere verbruik komt door je DPF filter? Als je filter in een (permanente) schoonmaak cyclus zit moet er denk ik een lampje branden op je dashboard. Dat is in ieder geval zo bij Freelander 2 en Discovery 3. Defender weet ik niet.

Wat is je verbruik dan nu? Normaal is meestel rond de 1 op 10 voor een diesel Land Rover. Dat wordt gauw meer als je veel spullen vervoert of een aanhanger meeneemt.

Je hebt garantie. Dus als je naar de dealer gaat maken ze het mogelijk kostenloos voor je. Dat lijkt me beter dan tot 100K of 3 jaar doorgaan met een mogelijk probleem.

Replacing the Roet Filter (DPF) won't be an easy task. Firstly you are going to have to find a suitable front pipe to go from the manifold to the middle pipe. Then you are going to have to find a way of bypassing the verschildruk sensor but fooling the Engine Management system that it is still there and you are going to have to do the same with the heat sensors. These modifications will certainly affect your warranty.

My personal advice is not to do it until you get to 100k or 3 years.

...... and if you think the engine is thirsty why not get it checked out by your dealer.

als er nu al iets niet in orde is....lijkt het je dan niet veel makkelijker het een probleem van je dealer te maken?

Good information, thank you. However: bad news!

Anyhow this needs a replacement part that may be not yet available on the after market.

But may be it is is a better idea to do this after the warranty period!

The workshop manuals are now published on-line (TOPIx) which is accessible via subscription to Land Rover and there are strict conditions to be met for access.

To the best of my knowledge there is no other version available (paper or off-line electronic) and RAVE has not been updated for many years.

...... the 2.2ltr Puma version is on TOPIx and was published on 29th November 2011.
